1) Rack height in inches or rack "units" (U). 1U = 1.75 in. 2) Standard rack depth is 20 in. but deeper sizes may be specified.

| Rack Rails and Rack Depths |
Rack Rail Options: (Standard case rails are EIA 19 in.)
23 in. wide – Retma – Compaq computer hole pattern – Recessed – Rear – Extra rails anywhere in case.
Rack Depth Options:(Standard rack depth, excluding lids, is 20 in.)
Depths from 12 in. to 36 in. available – removable lids add about 3 1/4 in. of air space each |

Style C above: Pull-over lid style. The Inner shell is protected by 2 in. of foam inside the case during shipment. The top lid lifts up and off to access the inner shell, front and rear.
Equipment in the inner shell can operate in the base (C-1 above) or, the shell can be removed and placed on the floor or a table (C-2 above) |
